What we are.
Signal Stance is a focused career and personal brand firm. We help senior professionals and business owners present themselves clearly and credibly — through resume work, LinkedIn strategy, and ongoing presence support.
We’re deliberately small. The firm is designed around quality of work and direct relationships with clients, not scale at any cost. We use AI tools internally to deliver consistently and efficiently, but the strategic thinking and judgment stay human.
We don’t position ourselves as a premium executive coaching firm. We don’t claim to work exclusively with C-suite clients. We’re not chasing a story bigger than our actual work. What we are is a serious professional services practice doing real, well-crafted work for accomplished clients who appreciate the difference.
How we think about the work.
Most career and LinkedIn services fall into one of two camps. On one end, low-cost services that produce templated, generic work. On the other end, premium executive coaching firms charging $10,000+ for what’s often the same work delivered with more ceremony.
Signal Stance occupies the middle: real strategic thinking and craftsmanship, at prices that don’t require you to be a Fortune 500 executive.
A few things shape how we work:
Specificity over generality.
Generic professional content doesn’t work. The work has to be built for the specific person, role, industry, and goal in front of us.
Strategy before execution.
We don’t start writing until we understand what we’re trying to communicate, to whom, and why.
AI as leverage, not replacement.
We’ve built internal tools that handle parts of the work that benefit from automation. The voice, judgment, and strategic decisions stay with us.
Direct communication and clear scope.
Defined scope and price upfront. No vague proposals, no scope creep, no surprises.

Taylor Lance Morgan
Founder
Taylor Lance Morgan founded Signal Stance in 2026 to focus on career and visibility services for senior professionals and business owners — a tier that’s been underserved by both budget services and premium executive coaching firms.
Taylor also founded Raleigh Resume in 2023, a career services firm specializing in credentialed resume writing and career coaching. At Raleigh Resume, Dana Wang, CPRW, serves as Principal Resume Writer, leading the firm’s client-facing practice. Taylor operates both firms, with Signal Stance as his direct practice focused on LinkedIn, content, and personal brand work.
The work Taylor developed through years of career services practice — particularly around personal brand strategy, LinkedIn positioning, and service design — informed the founding of Signal Stance. The two firms are complementary: Raleigh Resume focuses on credentialed resume writing and career coaching; Signal Stance focuses on broader career and visibility services with emphasis on LinkedIn, content, and personal brand work.
Taylor is based in Raleigh, North Carolina, and works with clients across the United States and internationally.
How we deliver.
Signal Stance is founder-led, with selected contractors handling specific aspects of execution as projects warrant. This structure lets us deliver consistently while keeping the firm small enough that every client gets real strategic attention from the founder.
Clients work directly with Taylor on strategy, voice development, and final quality. Production work — drafting, formatting, research — may involve the broader team operating under the firm’s standards.
The point of this model: high-quality work, sustainable delivery, no inflated overhead.
About Raleigh Resume.
Signal Stance is Taylor’s direct practice and primary focus for new work. Raleigh Resume, founded in 2023, is a separate firm Taylor continues to operate, led by Dana Wang, CPRW, as Principal Resume Writer.
The two firms serve different primary needs:
Raleigh Resume
Focuses on credentialed resume writing and career coaching — working directly with clients on career documents, positioning, and one-on-one coaching support. Dana leads client engagements as Principal Resume Writer (CPRW).
Signal Stance
Focuses on broader career and visibility services — LinkedIn strategy, ongoing personal brand work, content and ghostwriting, and comprehensive career positioning for senior professionals and business owners.
Both firms are founded and operated by Taylor Lance Morgan. The two firms operate independently but may refer clients between them based on fit.
